AlHerafey Platform
Cancellation Policy
Last updated: October 20, 2026
This Policy explains the cancellation, rejection, and support options currently available through AlHerafey while preserving mandatory consumer rights and the legitimate rights of booking participants under Jordanian law.
1. Customer Cancellation
A customer may use the cancellation option displayed in the Services while a booking is pending, has received a quotation, or has been accepted but the work has not started. Once work has started or has been completed, ordinary cancellation is no longer available. If a disagreement exists, the affected party should use the complaint or support channel.
2. Artisan Decline and Quotation Rejection
An artisan may decline a direct request while it is pending and may be required to select or provide an appropriate reason. A customer may reject a quotation through the options available before accepting it. Decline, rejection, or cancellation tools must not be used to harass another user, manipulate records, or avoid a valid obligation.
3. Effect of Cancellation
The system marks the booking as cancelled, rejects related pending quotations where applicable, and notifies the relevant participants. Records reasonably required for support, complaints, security, and legal obligations may remain available in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
4. Charges, Payments, and Refunds
This Policy does not create an automatic cancellation fee or refund. The current general booking flow does not process consumer payment through AlHerafey. If payment functionality is introduced, the applicable price, cancellation, refund, and payment conditions will be presented before payment and will comply with applicable Jordanian consumer law and app-store requirements.
5. Work Already Started
If work has started, the parties should not use ordinary cancellation to rewrite what occurred. Any concern about performance, price, materials, access, safety, or conduct should be documented and submitted through the complaint or support process. The existence of a dispute does not determine its outcome in advance.
6. Mandatory Rights and Disputes
Cancellation does not extinguish an accrued right or limit a mandatory right under Jordanian Consumer Protection Law No. 7 of 2017 or another applicable law. AlHerafey may retain and restrict access to relevant records while a complaint, safety matter, or legal obligation remains open.
7. Misuse and Support
Repeated, fraudulent, or harassing cancellations may be reviewed and addressed proportionately under the Terms and Conditions. For assistance, contact support@alherafey.com.
